Pastor Chandra Poudel, the leader of our churches in the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal, recently had the great joy of baptising his father.

Over many years Chandra's family had been resistant to the gospel but Chandra never lost sight of the faithfulness of God.

His father was baptised in a river to the joy of the growing church family in Nepal.Chandra leads the Apostolic Church Nepal and has established a`large and growing church in Nepal’s capital city, Kathmandu.

In addition, there are two new church planting centres incorporating Bible Colleges being established in cities in western Nepal. The Apostolic Church in Nepal is made up of around 35 churches and some of these are among tribal people groups which in recent years have emerged from traditional lifestyles.

Chandra is married with one daughter and has a passion for evangelism and church planting.
